British singer/songwriter Lánre pens what it’s like to be “Human” on a song from her four-track EP Human. The title track features minimal instrumentation and maximum vocals and harmonies with reflective, inspirational lyrics about growth as human beings.

“Cause we’re all broken, so that light can come in,” she sings.

The artist, who’s of Yoruba descent, is known for her compelling, story-telling style type of writing. She plays the guitar and was a member of award-winning UK collective GK REAL, ans soon after embarked on a solo career. IN 2011, she released her debut album Pen Voyage Chapter One: Singing For Change followed by her critically acclaimed EP Home in 2014.
