Tamia’s return to music is among us, as she’s already teased fans with a very short snippet of her upcoming single, “Sandwich and a Soda.” Recently, she spoke with Jasmine Sanders of The D.L. Hughley Show about the project it’s attached to, Love Life, which she reveals is due out June 9.

During the interview, she gives fans an extended preview of “Sandwich and a Soda,” and also talks about the state of the music industry: “I think music in general, music is going through a transition as far as how people purchase music, find music, and I think the industry is trying to catch up to that. As far as R&B is concerned, there are a lot of great singers out there, there just isn’t a lot of money behind it, so it’s hard to compete on a mainstream level,” she says.

She also talks about homeopathy, Kanye West, recording the album, and more. Peep the interview below!
