“I’m so professional, you’ll think I’m hired,” croons Dawn Richard on her new club-banger “Professional,” produced by Yonni and written by Felly the Voice. She later adds, “Flawless, if you don’t know, check my resume.”
It’s safe to say the New Orleans songstress is coming for heads and chart placements. With the disbandment of Danity Kane, again, Dawn is rightfully earning a spot as a solo threat — I think she’s going to surprise a lot of people.
“Professional” follows the previously released single, “Blow.” Both songs will appear on Dawn’s upcoming album, Blackheart, the follow up installment to her 2012 album, Goldenheart, slated for arrival on January 15.
