Fifth Harmony Nominated For MTV ‘Artist On The Rise’ Europe Music Award

Fifth Harmony is on the rise via MTV and the upcoming Europe Music Awards.

According to MTV, the group has just been nominated for the "Artist On The Rise Award," which will be handed out during this weekend's MTV Europe Music Awards.

"For the second year in a row, this year’s U.S. telecast of the MTV EMA will feature the socially-driven “Artist on the Rise” category sponsored by The Real Cost. The nominees include “MTV Artist to Watch” alums, 5 Seconds of Summer, pop quintet and VMA Artist to Watch winner, Fifth Harmony, pop artist Jake Miller, actress Lucy Hale and multi-talented recording artist Nick Jonas," reports MTV.

Beginning today through Sunday, November 9, fans can vote at using the following hashtags via Twitter, Instagram and Vine: #vote5sos, #votefifthharmony, #votejakemiller, #votelucyhale, #votenickjonas. The winner will be announced during the LIVE telecast from the Klipsch Amphitheater in Miami. Additionally, the best images and videos from Instagram and Vine will be displayed in a curated fan gallery.

As previously announced, the 2014 MTV EMA will kick off in the U.S. LIVE from Miami, FL with hosts Nick Cannon and Molly Tarlov and performers Fifth Harmony, Jake Miller and Nick Jonas. The MTV EMA – one of the biggest global music events of the year – recognizes artists from around the world and across genres, and brings together music fans everywhere for a one-of-a-kind experience in the weeks leading up to and at the show. Bruce Gillmer and Richard Godfrey are the Executive Producers for the 2014 MTV EMA. The 2014 MTV EMA marks the first time that the show will be held in Glasgow, Scotland and has received support from Glasgow City Marketing Bureau and EventScotland.

The MTV Europe Music Awards kick off this Sunday, Nov. 9.
