Michael Jackson may be gone but he will never be forgotten. On the heels of his forthcoming posthumous album Xscape, the King of Pop dominated Singersroom's Top 10 Streaming R&B Songs of The Week after the label previewed several cuts to promote the May 13th release. As fans yearn to hear unreleased music and MJ’s unforgettable and hypnotic sound, Jackson swooped the top spot as well as third and fourth place.
Fueled by an appearance from the currently incarcerated Chris Brown, Grammy-nominated sibling and songwriting duo Blaq Tuxedo surged to the runner-up spot with their new offering “Waterbed ," an endearing-yet-sexy groove about making the slushy mattress the location of choice for a lovemaking session. The lift is hugely associated with Brown’s Team Breezy fans and their healthy appetite for the star’s music.
After two consecutive weeks at the top spot, R&B Divas: Atlanta star Keke Wyatt rounds out the top 5 with her steamy bedroom ballad “Fall In Love,” while last week’s runner-up Tink drops to no. 7 with her Jeremih-assisted cut “Don’t Tell Nobody.”

Michael Jackson – Chicago
The song, which is about unknowingly falling for a taken woman, was one of many scrapped from the recording process of the King of Pop's 2001 album Invisible. According to the album’s liner notes, Jackson loved the demo sent to him by songwriter Cory Rooney, and he recorded the tune at The Hit Factory in New York City in 1999. However, this version features production from Timbaland, which effectively fits the Michael Jackson sound if he were to be working with the hit producer in 2014. We think MJ would approve!
Blaq Tuxedo – Waterbed Ft. Chris Brown
Grammy-nominated sibling and songwriting duo Blaq Tuxedo (previously known as D&D, a.k.a. Darius and Dominique Logan) have written for many artists including Ciara, TGT, and Chris Brown, and now they hook up with the latter for their latest offering “Waterbed," an endearing-yet-sexy groove about making the slushy mattress the location of choice for a lovemaking session.
Michael Jackson – Loving You
“Loving You” is another record from Michael Jackson’s forthcoming posthumous album Xscape, due out May 13th via Epic Records. Written by the King of Pop during the "Bad" sessions in 1987, the tune gets a modern refix by Timbaland and Jerome Harmon.
Michael Jackson – Love Never Felt So Good Ft. Justin Timberlake
"Love Never Felt So Good" is the lead single from the late Michael Jackson’s upcoming posthumous LP Xscape, due May 13. Originally written by the King of Pop and Paul Anka in 1983, super-producer Timbaland adds some modern day flare to the disco-inspired tune all while still giving it that MJ feel. Justin Timberlake hops on this alternate version for a spicy duet.
Keke Wyatt – Fall In Love
Keke Wyatt's new powerhouse single is titled “Fall In Love,” a slow burner aimed to do get the mood hot and heavy.
Usher – Good Kisser
Grammy winner Usher delivers his brand new single “Good Kisser,” the first offering from his forthcoming eighth studio album. On the funky and seductive tune, Usher goes back to his R&B roots, delivering clever lyrics and fun melodies over the catchy production.
Tink – Dont Tell Nobody ft. Jeremih
With Timbaland on board, you’ll probably be hearing much more from the Chicago artist, and it begins here, with fellow Chicagoan Jeremih on “Don’t Tell Nobody.” The cut has Tink reprimanding her cheating dude (played by Jeremih), and he doesn’t deny the claims, all he asks is that she doesn’t spill the beans.
Mike Jay – Birthday Suit
He offered a snippet of this song on his debut project The Mike Jay EP, and now here's the full version of "Birthday Suit," the Mint Condition-borrowed track suited to ode their hit “Pretty Brown Eyes.” Here, he takes the classic horn splashes and modifies them all the while keeping the same aesthetic, as he pleads his lady to bare all.
Joelle James – Sweet Lemonade
You always need a little vanilla in your coffee and Joelle James is here to give us some of that goodness. However, as the weather changes, we are really in the mood for a nice cup of "Sweet Lemonade".
K. Michelle & Keyshia Cole – Loyal (Deez N*ggaz Remix)
Keyshia Cole vented her frustrations over Chris Brown's track "Loyal," and now K. Michelle adds her vocals and two cents to the situation. “Why you got an attitude? / Girl that’s everybody’s dude,” she answers to Cole’s gripe that "these n*ggaz ain’t loyal."
