After his collab with former Zhané member Jean Baylor on "Stronger," Detroit-based, Grammy-nominated producer Brandon Williams is definitely on to something here!
Williams recently released the third single from his forthcoming album XII called "Now I Know" featuring vocals and lyrics by Jesse Boykins III and the ivory-tickling of Grammy-winner Robert Glasper. The result is a lush, soothing ode to looking at lost love in hindsight. Produced and arranged by Williams, the song also ends in a dope spoken word piece.
"Even if we’ve moved past it, most people have been in a place where they realize that they lost someone that they really cared about, and it was no one’s fault but their own," Brandon tells the Michigan Chronicle. "We end up in a place of reflection. A place of regret."
