Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez will receive the Grace Kelly Award at the upcoming eight annual March of Dimes luncheon set for Friday (Dec 6.) at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.
The mother of 5-year-old twins Max and Emme is being recognized as a celebrity parent role model supporting women giving birth to healthy babies after full-term pregnancies.
"As a mother myself, I am aware of the importance of healthful pregnancies and babies," Lopez said in a statement.
The 75-year-old nonprofit organization aims to prevent birth defects, premature births and infant mortality.
Reese Witherspoon was recognized last year (2012).
