As Danity Kane seems to be quietly reuniting for a reunion, Dawn Richard is still on her solo grind prepping 'Blackheart', the second part to her three-part album series, which follows 'Goldenheart'.
Case in point: Ms. Richard drops two new joints today, one of them being the new age hip-hop track "Valkyrie," featuring Deonte. Based on the mythical Norse maidens who gathered the souls of the most heroic warriors, Richard keeps up with her theme of victory and redemption inspired by the medieval age.
Abou the song, Dawn said, “I wanted a record that was packed with confidence, a sort of cocky reminder that you will remember my mark.”
