Dawn Richard’s second offering of the day form the upcoming LP Blackheart is “Judith,” a dejected shortie inspired by the Gustav Klimt painting of the same name based off of the biblical heroine from Catholic Old Testament biblical text.

"It’s the story of a painting that is priceless and quite iconic being forgotten after being hung in a home too long," she explains.

“I was your Judith,” she softly sings, harping on the sadness of feeling insignificant despite one’s efforts and glory.
