Jennifer Hudson says her forthcoming role in Lifetime's Five feature film, "Call Me Crazy," is serious.
Appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Monday night, Hudson talked about the role and post-traumatic stress disorder.
"Call Me Crazy is based on mental illnesses. I play Maggie. She is a soldier who was attacked by one of her sergeants. She comes home and her whole life falls apart because she has a nervous breakdown from PTSD," said Hudson.
As previously reported, "Call Me Crazy" also stars Octavia Spencer and Chelsea Handler and it premieres this Saturday, April 20 at 8 p.m. on Lifetime.
