Faith Evans Lands Top Ten with “Tears of Joy”

Faith Evans is undoubtedly welcoming “Tears of Joy”. The single, which is lifted from her latest album, R&B Divas, the companion to the TV One reality show, has landed Top 10 on both the BDS (at #9) and Mediabase Urban AC (at #10) Charts.

The emotionally-charged ballad “Tears of Joy” was written by Grammy nominated songwriters and producers, Claude Kelly & Chuck Harmony and follows the previously released, “Lovin Me,” which serves as the theme song for the reality show, and “Dumb“.

‘R&B Divas’ follows Faith’s No.1 Billboard Independent Album Chart effort, Something About Faith, which earned her a 2011 Grammy nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for the single “Gone Already.” The project was released via Prolific Music Group, in conjunction with eOne Music on October 2, 2012 and features collaborations with Nicci Gilbert, Monifah Carter, Syleena Johnson and Keke Wyatt.

Faith is currently performing on select U.S. Dates, including stops in DC, New York, Los Angeles, Memphis and Albany.
