Kirby Maurier returns to the 90s as the narrator of a crime plot that could of taken place on New York Undercover. Maurier’s remix of Nas’ “Represent” is inline with the gritty Queens Bridge MC’s saga of hood heist.
“Da Lick” is lifted from the songstress’s ode to the 90s mixtape, Class of ’96, which includes samples from Common’s “I Love H.E.R,” Notorious B.I.G’s “Sky’s the Limit,” LL Cool J’s “Doin It,” and Lil Kim’s “Crush On You.”
