Dawn Richard is setting the stage for the release of her full length album “Goldenheart” with her first single “Pretty Wicked Things.” Produced and co-written by Druski, the song hauntingly, yet effortlessly glides in and out of an hypnotic dance trance.
Dawn says the concept of the track is “the story of the beautiful things in life that get ruined by the wicked. ‘Goldenheart’ is the fusing of new sounds with R&B/soul,” she explains. “We are introducing the setup to Goldenheart with the release of ‘Pretty Wicked Things.’ This isn’t a single. It’s a setup.”
“Goldenheart” is slated to drop on October 16th.
