Definitely not news we want to hear. Multi-Grammy winner Usher’s 11-year-old stepson Kyle Glover is reportedly in critical condition following a boat collision outside Atlanta, Georgia.
On Friday afternoon, a man riding a jetski reportedly lost control and pulled Glover from a boat at Lake Lanier. In addition, a 15-year-old girl floating in an inner tube was also injured.
Both Glover and the teen girl were air lifted to Children’s Healthcare at Egleston Hospital, and a source told TMZ that Glover remains unresponsive and is in critical condition.
The incident is the third boating accident at the lake this summer. In June, the Prince brothers of Buford were killed during a collision. Also last month a youth nearly lost his leg in an accident involving a boat propeller.
Usher has been dealing with a tumultuous few months. He is currently in court fighting for custody of his two kids and he recently had to file a restraining order against a woman who claimed she was his wife.
