American Idol is ringing in its 400th episode with Mary J. Blige Wednesday.
The Queen of Hip Hop/Soul is mentoring this season’s top 13, who will take on the sounds of Whitney Houston and Stevie Wonder this week.
Blige follows Sheryl Crow, Beyonce and Lady Gaga, who mentored “hopefuls” last year.
