Independent record label Rostrum Records has become a breeding ground for developing Hip Hop artist careers including Pittsburgh natives Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller.
Now that Rostrum has made a footprint with the development of burgeoning Hip Hop acts, the company is transitioning into R&B and Pop by signing Vali.
“I couldn’t be more excited to introduce Vali to the world. She is an amazing singer, performer, and songwriter, and I’m proud to be working with her,” said Rostrum Records President Benjy Grinberg.
Billed as an urban Pop songstress, Vali has built an entertainment resume with roles in “Hairspray,” “The 50th Anniversary World Tour of Westside Story” and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The New York native’s first record “Polaroid,” released on Rostrum Records, was produced by Mac Miller’s producer Sap.
“I’m so excited to be working with Rostrum Records,” added Vali. “We’ve known each other for so long and have a close relationship, and now we get to take things to the next level!”
