Former Roc-A-Fella Singer Rell Returns With ‘From A Man’s Perspective’

Former Roc-A-Fella Records singer Rell was the voice of chorus for nearly all the label’s emcees including Jay-Z, Kanye West, Freeway, Young Gunz but after album cancellations and label changes, he failed to achieve mainstream solo success.

While retooling his career, Rell placed his focus into songwriting, earning a Grammy nomination for Usher’s ‘Here I Stand’ album.

After working behind the scene for the past several years, Rell is now readying his independent project ‘From A Man’s Perspective.’ “It’s self explanatory in a way, but it’s a lot of twists in how men think and how we speak to the ladies. In regards to a lot of things that guys feel as opposed to simply what you will hear and what they might say,” Rell described to YKIGS about the album.

Prior to the release of ‘From A Man’s Perspective,’ Rell plans on dropping a mixtape with DJ Skillz tentatively titled ‘Lost Files.’
