Fans will have a chance to see ‘The Light of the Sun’ live this summer as Jill Scott will be headlining this year’s Budweiser Superfest, sponsored by Live Nation.
The month-long tour will start on July 26th in Boston, and run throughout the month of August to end off the show in Houston on the 28th.
Scott will also be bringing the soulful croonings of Anthony Hamilton and Mint Condition with her to all the major amphitheaters across the country. Music will be provided by DJ Jazzy Jeff, while Doug E. Fresh will play hosting duties at the shows as well.

Jill Scott’s latest album ‘The Light of the Sun’ reached its peak at #1 on the Billboard charts, and she is currently set to release ten original recordings, entitled ‘From the Vault Vol. 1’ later this year. The project is currently available for preorder on her official site.
