Adele’s Tour Postpone Due to Illness

British soul songstress Adele will postpone several concert dates on her North American due to laryngitis. The “Rolling in The Deep” hitmaker was diagnosed last Thursday and ordered by doctors to immediately rest to improve her condition.

Adele continues to reigned at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Albums Chart, holding off a ton of debut albums and singles each week. She has already logged nine non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

She will resume her North American tour on June 4, 2011 with a performance at Greek Theatre Berkeley in San Francisco, C.A.

Performances in Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Portland, Ore., and Vancouver, British Columbia, have been rescheduled
