Veteran R&B quartet, Jagged Edge, is at it again! Fans and music lovers can now be on the look out for the group’s seventh studio album âThe Remedy.’ Currently set for a June 21, 2011 release, the album features the buzz worthy tracks “Lipstick” featuring Rick Ross, “Flow Through My Veins” and the hit single “Baby,” currently No. 23 on the Urban AC radio charts and its popularity is continuing to climb to larger radio stations such as KRNB Dallas, KJLH Los Angeles, WSRB Chicago, WCGI Chicago and WBLS New York.
It has been well over a decade since the Grammy award nominated singers: Brandon Casey and Brian Casey, Kyle Norman, and Richard Wingo stepped on the scene with their debut album, âA Jagged Era.’ Never fearful of reinventing themselves, these gentlemen promise that âThe Remedy’ will fill the void in R&B music and still deliver the classic Jagged Edge sound of timeless, sensual, and honest R&B.
The video for their current chart-topping single, “Baby,” will be shot in early April in the band’s hometown of Atlanta, GA. Noted music director, Yolande Geralds, will be the brilliance behind the video and has also worked with R&B heavyweights like Trey Songz.
The CEO of the group’s label at Slip-B-Slide Records, Ted Lucas, says, “Jagged Edge will help usher in a new era at Slip-N-Slide Records with âThe Remedy.’ We are excited about the release of this album and watching Jagged Edge climb up the charts again.”
In anticipation of the upcoming success of âThe Remedy,’ Jagged Edge plans to tour this summer. A schedule will be released at a later date.
