Whitney Houston not only attended the funeral for ex-husband Bobby Brownâs mother yesterday (Jan. 31) in Boston, Massachusetts, the âI Will Always Love Youâ hitmaker also sang.
According to TMZ, Houston sang twice at the remembrance service for her former mother-in-law, Carole Brown, who passed away Thursday (Jan 20) in Los Angeles at 69 years-old.
Houston sang gospel song âPrecious Lord Take My Handâ and she later joined Brownâs New Edition bandmates for âNever Would Have Made It.â
As Singersroom recently reported, Brown has vowed to commit his life to celebrate the lost of his mother.
âIt is a sad time for me right now. I am experiencing a tremendous loss but I vow to celebrate her life in every way that I can with my entire family, including my fiancée Alicia, and my children Bobbi Kristina, LaPrincia, Bobby Jr and Cassius,â Brown stated in a press release.
