Whitney Houston Lends Voice to Grieving Brown Family (Video)

Whitney Houston not only attended the funeral for ex-husband Bobby Brown’s mother yesterday (Jan. 31) in Boston, Massachusetts, the “I Will Always Love You” hitmaker also sang.

According to TMZ, Houston sang twice at the remembrance service for her former mother-in-law, Carole Brown, who passed away Thursday (Jan 20) in Los Angeles at 69 years-old.

Houston sang gospel song “Precious Lord Take My Hand” and she later joined Brown’s New Edition bandmates for “Never Would Have Made It.”

As Singersroom recently reported, Brown has vowed to commit his life to celebrate the lost of his mother.

“It is a sad time for me right now. I am experiencing a tremendous loss but I vow to celebrate her life in every way that I can with my entire family, including my fiancée Alicia, and my children Bobbi Kristina, LaPrincia, Bobby Jr and Cassius,” Brown stated in a press release.
