Grammy Award winning R&B singer Jennifer Hudson will release her highly anticipated sophomore album I Remember Me on March 22nd via J Records. The set is lead by the first single âWhere You At,â which premiered in full today and was written and produced by R. Kelly and Harvey Mason Jr.
The album title, âI Remember Me,â is based on a poem written by Jennifer and composed into a beautiful song co-written by Ryan Tedder that will be featured on the album. Additional writers and producers on the album include multi-award winners Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Rich Harrison, Ne-Yo and Stargate.
âIâm excited about this album because itâs almost like a renewal for me, reflected through the chapters of my life,â comments Jennifer. âIâve called it âI Remember Meâ because of the journey Iâve been on. Iâve learned that life constantly surprises you, no matter your plans. My fans have been so loyal, I feel like they have been on this journey with me and I canât wait for them to hear the new album.â
âI Remember Meâ is the follow up to Hudsonâs 2008 self-titled debut album, which featured the hit singles âSpotlightâ and âIf This Isnât Love.â The set debuted at #2 on Billboardâs Top 200 Albums and R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts and won a Grammy in 2009 for Best R&B Album. The album is available for pre-order starting today on Jenniferâs website.
