Get ready to watch and vote, American Idol has picked its top 24 contestants for what looks to be a very competitive season. After days of excruciating auditions, both solo and group, Hollywood Week came to a close Wednesday, with Jermaine Sellers, Haeley Vaughn, Todrick Hall, Ashley Rodriguez, Andrew Garcia, Lacy Brown, and Joe Munoz among the top 24 ! While there were some surprise eliminations, including the heartbreaking “no” given to Angela Martin, several early favorites made it through. American Idol returns Tuesday, February 23 with twelve ladies competing to maintain their spot. The guys return Wednesday, February 24.
