The key hearing in Chris Brown’s felony assault and making criminal threats case will proceed as planned, according to Los Angeles sources. News of the case being confirmed for Monday, June 22 follows a second attempt by Brown attorney Mark Geragos to have the hearing delayed. Asking the California Supreme Court to intervene, after a Los Angeles judge denied his original request, Geragos had hoped to gain additional time to resolve challenges with evidence related to the case. In addition to Brown and Geragos, Rihanna and attorney Donald Etra are due to appear during the preliminary hearing. As previously reported on Singersroom, Rihanna received a subpoena and will testify as will other subpoenaed parties. Chris Brown’s preliminary hearing will take place Monday, June 22.
