Senior Vice-President of IMG Fashion Fern Mallis, will also judge the designs of the fifteen professional designers who will compete to have their clothes sold in the retail market and win a $125,000 prize. So was Rowland the best fit for the show? She confidently believes so! “I buy clothes, I’m a consumer, I love fashion, I know what looks good on,” says Rowland. “I have a pretty good eye…I can understand them wanting to put me in this show.” As far as her career Kelly says settling is not an option. “No…I don’t think that you should…we are all in a position where we basically get our pick,” says the R&B star. Not only is she opening doors for her own career, she is very supportive of her former Destiny’s Child sisters. As far as Beyonce’s new movie “Obsessed”…Kelly said she new “it would be number 1 period.” “I remember thinking…what the hec is she doing fighting.” She went on to say she is proud of Beyonce and Michelle; they are doing very well.
