Rihanna Wants Brown Case Over Quickly, Confirms Lawyer

Chart-topping diva Rihanna reportedly told her lawyer she wants this whole Chris Brown case in Los Angeles over ! According to Donald Etra, Rihanna’s attorney, the singer wants her alleged attacker Chris Brown to receive a deal. “Rihanna would be pleased if it were over quickly,” Etra told reporters outside Brown’s arraignment Monday afternoon. As previously reported on Singersroom, Brown is close to reaching a plea deal thanks to attorney Mark Geragos who avoided press after Monday’s hearing. Seemingly aware of the possible plea deal, Etra said the choice is not Rihanna’s it is in fact “up to the District Attorney” and “efforts” underway to resolve the case. Also noting that Rihanna is “doing fine,” Etra said “She’s in Barbados now with her family.” Chris Brown is set to return to a Los Angeles area court room April 29 for a preliminary hearing after pleading not guilty to felony counts of making criminal threats and assault.
