It seems Rihanna is avoiding anything related to Chris Brown’s ongoing case in Los Angeles. In fact, sources say Rihanna is waiting for the whole thing to be over and plans to stay as far away as possible due to ongoing negotiations. Over the weekend Rihanna jetted off to Barbados and according to sources is highly unlikely to appear in Los Angeles for Chris Brown’s anticipated court date today. While she is said to be “back to normal,” according to her father, the star’s former partner Chris Brown might end up getting back to normal sooner than previously thought thanks to intense negotiations with both investigators and Rihanna’s lawyer. “It’s expected to be resolved at some point soon. Rihanna wants it resolved as well,” a source told NY Daily News Monday. The same source went on to confirm specualation that Brown will plead not guilty on the felony counts due to California’s Three Strikes Law insted of pleading guilty to one of the charges as previously thought. Some also believe Brown will ask the court for another continuance as he did in March, to allow time for the negotiations between all parties to wrap up. As for Rihanna, she is said to be willing to testify if ordered to do so via subpeona. As previously reported, Chris Brown is due in court Monday afternoon.
