Jennifer Hudson Steps Aside, Says No To Inaugural Performance

Jennifer Hudson will not perform at the upcoming inauguration as some reports have suggested. According to Hudson’s rep, the rumors, likely due to Hudson’s support of the campaign and performance at the Democratic National Convention, are untrue. “There is no truth to this,” she says. As previously revealed on Singersroom, Hudson’s first appearance since the tragic deaths of her mother, brother and nephew will be at the Grammy related MusiCares Person of the Year Awards in February. The “Spotlight” singer is also up for several awards at the Grammys where she is also expected to make an appearance.
