While Usher had moved on when the clock struck twelve in January, television networks, radio stations, bloggers and most fans had not moved past his marriage to Tameka Foster or the other much-talked-about events that ensued in his personal life. On May 27, 2008, Usher hit up MTV’s then hit show TRL (Total Request Live) to promote his recently released album “Here I Stand”. After talking about the project for a few minutes Usher broke into a speech about his wife, the rumors, his mother and all of the negative reports issued by the press.
