R&B Takes Over Television: Usher, MJB, Ne-Yo Plus ‘Summer Concert Series’

R&B artists are dominating television over the next week with appearances ranging from day time soaps to late night talk shows. One thing is for sure, R&B artists are hot right now. Kicking off the week with an amazing performance on Saturday Night Live, Usher dominates this week with new music from his highly anticipated album “Here I Stand” due in stores Tuesday. The “Love In This Club” singer will perform on Tuesday’s finale of ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ later making rounds through The Ellen Degeneres Show, Good Morning America, MTV and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Ne-Yo takes on daytime television this week with two appearances on ABC’s “All My Children.” According to the singer/songwriter’s blog Year of the Gentleman, he will perform his new single “Stop This World” on Wednesday and hit single “Closer” on Thursday. Rapping up the week, Mary J Blige performs on Oprah Winfrey and Lyfe Jennings meets up with Tyra on the Tyra Banks Show . Blige performs on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ Coming Up: Good Morning America Summer Concert Series Usher is slated to perform on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series May 30th, followed by Ashanti June 6th and Boys II Men June 20th.
