Tinashe drops off another in your face record, this one titled “Throw A Fit.” On the R&Bass/Trap-ready offering, produced by Hitmaka, the mellow songstress introduces her alter ego “Nashe” as shit spits braggadocious verses about being the “shit.”
Unlike her singing side, Nashe is Gangsta with “0 chill,” “will steal your bitch,” “got your boyfriend rolling her blunts,” “makes these hoes extremely uncomfortable,” amongst many other things, which you can see below.
On “Throw A Fit,” Nashe deliver lyrics like “Ay, pussy wet all by herself / And if he drown, I ain’t gon’ help” to “I’m the shit, yeah I’m super lit / If you don’t buy me what I want, I’ma throw a fit.”
It’s safe to say Tinashe’s alter-ego is here to cause a stir-up, but will it work? As she continues to establish her brand as a singer, will rapping help?
“Throw A Fit” follows the previously released “Like I Used To,” a song inspired by her highly-publicized breakup with NBA star Ben Simmons.
