The VanJess sisters return with a bopping new single that will have you “Addicted.”
Following the release of the visual for “Through Enough” featuring Goldlink, back in February 2017, the singer-songwriters, real names Ivana Nwokike and Jessica Nwokike, merge their love for hip-hop and R&B for this hard-hitting and soulful gem.
About the single, the duo revealed, “‘Addicted’ represents the more R&B and hip-hop side of the album. The melodies and arrangement actually embody our core sound. When we created it, the rest of the album sort of just came together.” Produced by IAMNOBODI (Bryson Tiller), the track highlights their knack for infectious harmonies and soothing melodies.
VanJess made a name for themselves through YouTube covers. Raised between Nigeria and California, the sisters comprising VanJess instinctually incite an inimitable style.
