Emerging singer Amara La Negra, known from Love & Hip Hop Miami, releases the new single, ‘What A Bam Bam,’ a song that samples the Reggae classic ‘Bam Bam’ by Sister Nancy.
On the single, the purveyor of #BlackGirlMagic switches between her Spanish and English accent as she rides the island/reggaeton beat.
‘What A Bam Bam’ is the first taste from Amara’s upcoming debut album, watch, and her first release since signing a multimillion-dollar, multi-album record deal with Fast Life Entertainment Worldwide and BMG.
The single is also accompanied by a music video, which currently lives on TIDAL. In the Montoya el Duro-directed clip, the Dominican songstress frolics at a lavish pool party in her native Miami, FL. Watch the video here.
Stay tuned for Amara’s 2nd single “Insecure,” which will be dropping on the Love & Hip Hop Miami reunion show in March! Her debut EP is also slated to drop this summer!
