Indie R&B artist Rion Michael is using music to overcome obstacles in his personal and professional life. In the aftermath of some trials and tribulations, the singer-songwriter launches a campaign for his next project by dropping the new single, “#DaddyLove.”
“#DaddyLove” follows Rion’s recent Tupac tribute and boasts a nostalgic vibe of the 90’s with features from his real-life cousin and The Lost Boys member Mr. Cheeks and rap legend Snoop Dogg.
With melodies that seep into your brain, “#DaddyLove” definitely warrants a place on your playlist. The record will appear on Rion’s upcoming EP, Here, slated for release on September 25th, the same date as his daughters 5th birthday. The project will spotlight his new outlook on life.
A full-length project titled ‘The Perfect Stranger’ will arrive in 2018; Rion has already recorded well over 50 songs.
Rion got us hooked with “#DaddyLove,” so here’s hoping for the same vibe with future songs. Check it out below!
