Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Michelle Branch premieres the music video for “HopelessRomantic,” the soulful title track from her new album of the same name, due out April 7 via Verve Records.
“The song is about the push and pull of a romantic relationship,” Branch told EW. “There’s always a kind of fear when you’re entering a relationship with someone; of, ‘Where will this go? Will I get hurt?'”
Branch’s much-anticipated fourth studio album Hopeless Romantic produced by Patrick Carney (The Black Keys) and Gus Seyffert (Beck, Norah Jones, Sia), weaves a tale of love both lost and found.
“A lot of these songs are about heartbreak, but knowing that it doesn’t mean the end of the world. It just means letting go and moving on and knowing that you’re going to be okay,” says Branch. “This is my first real-life autobiographical record.”
