Atlanta-based singer/songwriter Brenda Nicole Moorer will be releasing her sophomore album Brand New Heart soon (the follow-up to her last EP For Lovers & Believers).
Today (Feb. 1), she premieres the song “Re-imagine,” a mix of soul and jazz written by Moorer and keyboardist/composer Kenny Banks Jr. and produced by Brooklyn keyboardist Jesse Fischer.
“The song is about growth and change for the betterment of yourself and envisioning the life you want,” Brenda explained. “I think with the new year a lot of people are re-imaging what their lives could be.” The song features a soul jazz feel with a mid-tempo beat, catchy horn lines, and smooth vocals.
