Following the internet success of his debut release, Pulldown, NYC native EarlGréy returns with his brand new single “Overdue.”
Produced, written and performed by EarlGréy, “Overdue” is an eclectic blend of soul, hip-hop with some subtle pop sensibilities placing him at the table of the new generation of of cutting-edge neo soul artists.
Speaking to Mass Appeal about the track, EarlGréy revealed, “’Overdue’ is how everyone feels are one point or another. In my case it’s a declaration, almost a testament to stay out of my own way. I’ve always kept my music to myself and close friends, until I realized I have a story to tell. We’re all here to help and inspire one another, and me… I guess I’m just overdue.”
As a member of creative collective TheVAMP, EarlGréy has in recent months been collaborating with an array of talent, from industry veterans such as Ne-Yo to budding superstar MAAD. Fast forward to 2016, EarlGréy is setting his sights firmly on the spotlight ans is currently gearing up for a debut EP release due out in 2017.
