London-based up-and-comer Donavon King drops his debut single “Bad Generation,” a song with a message from the youth to the older generation/paradigm of the world.
The song plays on the notion that the youth are a “bad generation,” but King has a message on behalf of the world’s youth: “Just cause we’re young doesn’t mean we’re naïve / …we rebel against preconceived concepts /…we’re not depending on you to decide our fate,” he declares in the second verse.

King says he mixes traditional R&B with modern R&B along with other pop genres to make a new sound for himself he calls “Stadium R&B.” He’s currently studying Popular Music at the London University Goldsmith where artists such as Katy B and James Blake also attended.
