Virginia-based, indie soul singer Rob Milton has released a new song called “The Threat.” Produced by Georgia Anne Muldrow (who’s also on the hook), the song is inspired by all the mayhem happening in the world.
Milton explains, “While we are watching our brothers and sisters get murdered by the police and our family members struggle with the side effects of having their water supply poisoned, we still have to work and pay our bills. This song is detailing how it feels from the perspective of a creative who is already struggling to survive and then also dealing with these unfortunate circumstances.”
The song also features fellow singer/songwriter/musicians Roman Lee Norfleet, Jacque Hammond, Nicholas Ryan Gant, Kahlil Daniel and Robalu Gibsun.
“The features on this song mean the world to me,” Milton continues. “Georgia Anne Muldrow is one of the greatest writers, singers and producers of our time. She has inspired and influenced so much of my work and it’s literally a dream come true to have her featured on this record. There’s also Roman Lee Norfleet, Jacque Hammond, Nicholas Ryan Gant, Kahlil Daniel and Robalu Gibsun, who are all incredible and each individually mean something extremely special to me and my musical journey.”
