Bell Biv Devoe Preserve Their Signature 90s Sound On New Single, ‘Run’

With the BET New Edition biopic set to air in 2017, spin-off trio Bell Biv Devoe (BBD) drops a new tune with mad 90s vibes called “Run.”

Named after a lyric from Notorious B.I.G’s “Hypnotize” and also featuring a sample from the 1997 single, BBD members Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe sing about being a sucka for love to a woman who doesn’t appreciate their devotion.

“Everytime I buy you things, you play the game / You run run run, you run run,” they sing on the chorus.

All the lovers of 90s R&B should feel this!

Most recently, the trio linked up with the rest of New Edition for Johnny Gill’s single “This One’s For Me and You.”
