Las Vegas artist JR Castro is teaming up with DJ Carisma for an upcoming mixtape called Songs You Were Made To. If the name didn’t give it away, Castro will be covering classic R&B tracks that many people were probably conceived to. Castro plans to release a new cover of a certified baby-making record every Monday for the rest of July and August.
Last week he kicked off his #Made2Mondays series with his rendition of Ready For The World’s 1986 classic “Love You Down” produced by The Audibles. This week he gives us Bobby Brown’s “Rock Wit’ Cha” also produced by The Audibles. Castro keeps the same format of the slow jam groove for his version.
