As Tank films his role as music exec Jheryl Busby for the upcoming BET New Edition biopic, he drops a somewhat cinematic video for “I Love Ya,” a track from his latest album SLP2.
The R&Bass banger conjures up a visual that mimics the songs’ sensual sound; that of booty-shaking women all around. The clip features Tank and actor Jackie Long as they plan in throwing a house party at Floyd Mayweather’s luxurious pad. Yo Gotti features on the track and of course appears at the stripper-laden shindig.
Tank’s artist female rapper Siya cameos, and his protégé trio 12:Til also stop by, hoping to get into the exclusive party. They sing a dope a cappella version of Jodeci’s “Love U 4 Life,” but the impromptu performance doesn’t gain them access. Tank’s then retires to the bedroom where he enjoys private time one of the strippers.
