Grammy Award-winning recording artist Chrisette Michele releases the second single “Equal” featuring Rick Ross from her fifth studio album Milestone, which is scheduled for release next Friday, June 10th.
On the song, Chrisette asserts her importance in the relationship and checks her man’s ego; something us ladies have had to do at one point or another.
“You be pushin’ it, baby, pump them brakes / I’m equal, I’m half of you / That ego don’t look good on you,” she sings on the chorus, and Rick Ross chimes in with his apologetic verse. These two are no strangers to steamy summer collaborations; she was featured alongside Drake on Ross’ 2010 single “Aston Martin Music”.
Also today, Chrisette Michele announced the preorder for her 5th studio album Milestone (released independently through Capital’s Caroline Records). The Trap-Soul vibe can be felt on this album with top singles that include “Steady” and “Unbreakable.” Along with Rick Ross, features include Meet Sims and Mali Music.
“The Milestone Tour” will kick off at The Starland Ball Room on June 3rd 2016, and will stop in 33 cities, including Philadelphia, Denver, Richmond, Dallas, and many more. For The official tour schedule log on to www.TheMilestoneTour.com.
