Earlier this year, Los Angeles-based singer Arima Ederra graced us with her sweet and whimsical single “Trippin On U,” influenced by her African roots and Ethiopian love songs. Today, the sultry songstress we’ve grown to love pays another tribute to influential artist, Mos Def (Yasiin Bey) with her rendition of “The Boogie Man Song”. The song played as the opening track to Mos Def’s second studio album New Danger in 2004; here, Arima keeps the same format, a notable addition being the hi hat cymbal instrumentation.

Stay tuned for Arima’s project Temporary Fixes coming soon
