Beloved R&B trio After 7 is back with new music since their 1995 album, Reflections, in the form of the jazzy jam “I Want You.”
On the song, members Keith, Kevon, Melvin, and Melvin's son Jason resurrect their harmonies and romantic, laid back vibes as they sing sweet somethings for their loves.
“My baby, did I fail to mention, that I got the best intentions / That I’ll be yours until the end of time,” they croon on the bridge.
“I Want You” is co-written and coproduced by Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, who is the brother of members Melvin and Kevon. There's a good chance the group are prepping a new project. Stay tuned for that!
