The rollout of August Alsina’s sophomore album has been slowed due to his many medical issues and him taking time out to get his health together. Thankfully, the New Orleans singer is in good health and back to work on his new album titled This Thing Called Life.
Today, the young’un enlists the talents of fellow Nawlin’s rapper Lil Wayne for his new single, “Why I Do It.” This will most likely be blasting over the airwaves for the rest of the year as two of New Orleans' best in the game!
No word on when This Thing Called Life will arrive, but my guess is most likely before the gift-giving holiday season. “Why I Do It” follows the premiere single “Hip-Hop.”
