Leona Lewis Inks U.S. Deal With Def Jam, Reveals New Album Cover & Title

Update: Leona also confirm her Def Jam signing via Instagram (see post below).

Late last year (2014), following her exit from Simon Cowell's Syco Records, Leona Lewis teased fans with new music via a video clip and captioned it with: "Getting ready for 2015…"

Well, it looks like the "Bleeding Love" hit-maker is looking to make a huge splash internationally. Now signed to Island Records, in addition to a brand new multi-album U.S. deal with Def Jam, the former X Factor winner plans to drop her fifth studio effort this summer.

The album title is called 'I Am' and the official album cover was unveiled at a preview event this week. In the photo, she dons wings like an Angel.

According to reports, the lead single from the project will be "Fire," the teaser cut we mentioned above.
