RL – Someday We’ll All Be Free

Veteran R&B artist RL is the latest star to lend his voice to the ears of the many people dealing with societal trauma in the wake of several police brutality cases, including the recent death of Mike Brown and Eric Garner at the hands of white police officers.

The former Next member delivers a heartfelt cover of Donny Hathaway's emotional 1973 song "Someday We'll All Be Free," which was written by Edward Howard to help lift Donny's spirit, but today is interpreted as a Civil Rights movement record.

RL's silky and soothing voice definitely warms the soul while helping to garner hope!

Let's get better going into 2015 folks!
