To honor late civil rights activist, co-founder of the Inner City Broadcasting Corporation, and radio legend, Hal Jackson, BB Kings Blues Club will be hosting a soulful divas concert for his 100th birthday.
Soulful divas tapped to perform on this historic evening are Evelyn "Champagne" King, Ce-Ce Peniston, Alyson Williams & The Fred Mac Band, and Meli'sa Morgan. These legendary vocalists were Jackson's former Talented Teens, who went on to have successful careers in the entertainment industry.
Debi B and Dr. Bob Lee as well as other WBLS radio will be hosting the event and to top it off, there will be special giveaways for the audience. So expect an evening of laughter, joy, and of course, great music as we celebrate the life and legacy of Hal Jackson. This concert will truly be a call to remembrance.
