August Alsina’s recent health scare, which included a 3-day coma, was a wake-up call, not only for the improvement of his personal life, but also for the people surrounding him.
This energy was transferred to rapper Meek Mill, who is currently serving time in prison. The New Orleans crooner shared 15-seconds of his conversation with the “Ima Boss” rapper, and Meek took his moment to let fans know that he’s staring down the right path.
“Me and August kicking it, talking this real young ni**a sh*t, talking about what I gotta do when I get back down,” Meek says on the phone. “One love to everybody holding it down.”
August also explain on IG what the two spoke about:
Squad kalled from that shit hole… Good to hear & feel a smile on em thru it all. I tol em God sat us down differently but at the end of it all he SAT US DOWN! He said Exactly! We jus gotta know/recognize when da Man giving you a chance to get your shit in order then Come back stronger then ever.
Alsina will kick off his support spot on Usher’s “UR Experience Tour” on November 1 in Montreal.
